One week down and a correction.

Turns out we were actually resubmitted on February 22nd and not the 21st. So as of today we are one week in. People keep asking how long it will take. When we were originally submitted in December PGN was averaging 8 weeks. Things have been moving a little quicker recently so we'll see. After we get approval from PGN we need to get a new birth certificate with our names on it, a Guatemalan passport and then the 2nd DNA test. When all these are finished and the results of the DNA test are back at the US Embassy in Guatemala, the embassy will issue our visa appointment or PINK (because in the days before email the appointment was issued on pink paper). So after PGN approval it's another 4-6 weeks to get all these things done. Thanks for checking in!
