Central Authority

I have been reading adoption forums saying that people have been appointed and an office is being set up for a Central Authority in Guatemala. No information yet about when cases will start to be registered. Joint Council was meeting with US DOS and US CIS last week but no updates are on their website yet. We are hoping that the fixes to our file are easy and that we can be ready to be registered with the Central Authority as soon as it is up and running. This post bumped Ezra's pictures down so if you haven't seen them scroll down to take a look! Thanks for checking in.

I saw this post too. Sounds encouraging. Maybe this week our cases will be registered with the new CA. Here's to positive thinking as a new week begins.

Love the new pictures of Ezra. He sure looks like he was up to something in the first one! Each day you are one step closer to bringing him home. Hang in there!

I saw your comment and had to check out your blog. My goodness have you been through a lot with your adoption! Your little guy is BEAUTIFUL!!! I agree, we must have the same attorney. I'd love to compare notes!

That's great news. Hopefully they will get the CA up and running and get you in and out of PGN.
