Stressing out a bit!

Sorry for the long delays in posting. There just isn't really anything new to report on our case. However, much is happening in Guatemala that could affect our case (Presidential elections tomorrow, Hague implementation in January). Our case still sits in family court. We have been told that the judge who has our case goes on vacation on November 15th and all pending cases will be transferred to another judge. The new judge can then sign the resolution to proceed with the adoption or can call another hearing. Whatever happens it sounds like there will be no movement on our case until late November or early December. So the earliest our case may go to PGN could or would be January. The US side of adoptions in Guatemala is stating that those in progress in January would be "grandfathered" in. There is no assurance that the Guatemala side will follow suit. Therein lies the stress we are experiencing right now. So, keep those fingers and toes crossed and if you are so inclined send up a few prayers for us! Thanks!
